Happy release week everyone!

Eskimo Joe have taken the bun out of their oven today and out popped a beautiful full length album with gorgeous artwork called "Ghosts of the Past". It's been a busy time for us in the office as we work around the clock with The Joe to produce for you this little baby. The album is already receiving super good praise from critics, not to mention their blistering live shows (note: see Splendour in the Grass) which you'll have a chance to see in September/October. There are still some surprises to come with supports to still be announced along with yesterdays Adelaide show the Kangaroo Island Surf Music festival and a new show in Perth at the Astor theatre announced today after a sellout first show.

It's always around this time in the birth of an album that I get so excited that I catch a debilitating flu.....and this time is no different. So to protect the kids in the office from the lurgy that is sweeping the nation, I've set myself up with a mobile office at home. Where I'm currently writing this. Faux Chicken soup is my tip for anyone out there experiencing the very same thing.

More brilliant news for us in the last week or so is the super amazing GOLD single for Jebs with "She's Like A Comet".

We have the totally emotionally charged ballad 'Battlesong" with video hitting media in the next week. "Battlesong" is totally one of my fav songs on the KOSCIUSZKO album and I'm so happy it's being unleashed in all it's emo glory to an unsuspecting public.

Also keep your eyes open for a super important announcement from the band on a final tour for 2011 on Monday. This will be one of the last times the band hits it out there in general touring land.

We have a lot of exciting Producer news which you can check out via out awesome newsletter CONSOLE which hits inboxes every month or so. It kicks ass and is invaluable for tech nerds who like knowing about what gear has been used on which recordings. We will be posting it on the news page of the CHM website whenever we have one ready to go.

Finally, just loving this local band Number Station - they've got some seriously good s&$t going on.
